Eliminating viral hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030 is a target set under the UN Sustainable Development Goal on Health (SDG 3.3) (1). EUDA delegation makes first trip to Washington

This week, a delegation from the newly established European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA) visited Washington DC for a series of high-level meetings with US partners. Led by EUDA Executive Director Alexis Goosdeel, the delegation aimed to present the agency's new mandate and discuss potential areas of cooperation within its new responsibilities. Top officials gather in Lisbon to launch new European Union Drugs Agency

High-ranking officials are gathering in Lisbon today for the inauguration of the new European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA). The new agency replaces the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), which has been operating in Lisbon since 1995. New legislation which entered into application this week revises the EMCDDA mandate and name, and formally establishes the EUDA (1).
