Summary Report on Addictions in the Czech Republic 2023 and National Survey on Substance Use 2023

Prague, 30 May 2024 - The Government has received the Summary Report on Addictions in the Czech Republic 2023. At the same time, the results of the latest National Survey on Substance Use - a population-wide study based on a representative sample of citizens aged 15+ years, conducted in 2023, are published.
The Summary report provides a comprehensive overview based on thematic reports issued in 2023, with actualizations on the current situation and developments.
The National survey builds on similar studies from 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020. It provides valuable new data on the use of legal and illegal substances as well as behavioural addictions, allowing to monitor the long-term evolution of the situation.
