A National Government Conference "Delivering the Drug Strategy, Progress Made, Challenges Ahead"

On the 30th November and 1st December the Home Secretary, the Rt Hon Charles Clarke MP will be hosting a national conference on the Drug Strategy. This two day event in Central London, will look at progress made in delivering the Drug Strategy to date and will invite delegates to explore the challenges ahead. Day One - 30th November 2005 (From lunchtime onwards). The Home Secretary, will make his first major speech on the Drug Strategy. You will have an opportunity to put questions directly to him and other Ministers in a Q & A session chaired by Jon Snow. Day Two - 1 December 2005 (close at lunchtime). Seminars will run on the four main strands of the Drug Strategy - prevention and young people, effective treatment, reducing drug-related crime and tackling supply. Leading practitioners and policy makers in each field will be exploring blockages and challenges ahead.
