9th European Conference on Drugs and Infections Prevention in Prison:
Aims and objectives: The conference is designed to:
- Promote the notion of prisons as part of the wider community and highlight the positive contributions each can make to the other;
- Exchange and review information and good practice in the field;
- Promote co-operation between different professions, disciplines, interests and countries;
- Continue to exploit the opportunities for co-operation provided by the EU enlargement;
- Consolidate issues fir further discussion, review and research in the field;
- Promote pragmatic, realistic, effective and cost saving interventions with problematic drug users in the criminal justice system.
