The Lisbon Conference is a major new event in the addictions calendar. The Portuguese General-Directorate for Intervention on Addictive Behaviours and Dependencies (SICAD — Serviço de Intervenção nos Comportamentos Aditivos e nas Dependências) the journal Addiction, the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) and theInternational Society of Addiction Journal Editors(ISAJE) are combining to put on a conference for researchers, policy makers and practitioners, bringing cutting-edge science and practice together.
